The Salt Lake Arts Academy offers students in grades 5-8 a tuition free, unique and dynamic public school option. In today’s economy, it takes more than tax dollars to make this education available to 270 students each year. Charter schools do not receive the same amount of funding as regular public schools. We do not receive funding for buildings, nor do we get property tax revenues as do regular public schools. We rely on the generosity of many people to support SLArts with financial and In-Kind donations to help close the gap. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, there are many income and estate benefits for the donors. We accept unrestricted gifts, gifts for specific programs and purposes, and in-kind donations of goods and services. SLArts can also accept gifts of appreciated stock or other assets: please consult your professional financial advisor on other ways to support SLArts. 100 % of your donation is used for the purpose it was intended. We do not take out any overhead costs. In addition, we seek funds from foundations, community organizations, and corporations.
